Two New York City detectives were investigating the murder of one Juan Flores.

“How was he killed?” asked one detective.

“With a golf gun,” the other replied.

“A golf gun? What is a golf gun?”

“I don’t know, but it sure made a hole in Juan!”

Official: Too bad, sir, we have no open time on the course today.

Golfer: Hey, just a minute—what if Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods showed up? I bet you’d have a starting time for them. Right?

Official: Of course.

Golfer: Well, I happen to know neither will be here today, so we’ll take their time.
